The new berbel Downline hob extraction system is equipped with a double act of innovative technology: a modern berbel induction hob with a powerful integrated extraction system and the patented berbel principle for highly efficient air cleaning – using centrifugal force rather than fat filters.
Various sophisticated details and functionalities allow for new possibilities for preparing delicious meals. And it goes without saying that the berbel Downline is a visual treat too. We are very happy that the berbel Downline was awarded the Plus X Award for: Innovation, High Quality, Design and User Convenience, even before it was launched onto the market.

WELCOME IN ANY KITCHEN
The superior characteristics of berbel’s established extractor hoods are now also available in the form of a hob extractor fan. With berbel Downline you will benefit from a convincing product that has been eagerly awaited. It was well worth the wait: the extraction system is integrated in the contemporary berbel induction hob, allowing for highly effective air cleaning with centrifugal force and without a grease filter, right where cooking takes place.
Any cooking or frying vapours are absorbed directly, swiftly and effectively before they get the chance to circulate in the room. Just as reliable after years of service as it was on the first day – in any kitchen:
- Truly flush surfaces of the large cooking zones allow for cooking and extraction to blend together.
SOUND POINTS FOR CLEAN AIR
The innovative extraction system is equipped with a Powermover that can be positioned centrally, on the left or on the right to allow for flow optimised absorption of rising cooking and frying vapours. Even when using cooking pots, thanks to the special inflow grid with tilted bars. The effect of the extractor fan can be ideally adjusted to the cooking situation with a range of automatic modes. It doesn’t get any more convenient. The separator unit can be wiped clean, as usual with berbel. All removable parts of the hob extractor fan are dishwasher safe. The versatile berbel induction hob features numerous functions to make cooking and frying enjoyable. All functions and the extractor system can be controlled easily via the integrated touch control system.

MODES
RECIRCULATION
Recirculation mode is the most energy-saving operating mode. The air is cleaned by an odour filter and directed back into the room. The room temperature is not altered. It is also simple to implement, because wall penetrations and exhaust channels are not required. Due to their large volume, berbel charcoal filters are especially efficient at odour-binding and absorb up to 97% of bad smells. A further advantage of the berbel recirculation filter: only the proactive carbon needs to be changed – not the entire filter – and it only needs to be replaced every two to three years depending on how hard the filter has to work. The berbel refill pack is available for a cost-effective and environmentally friendly replacement.
EXHAUST AIR
Exhaust air directed outside the building is particularly effective when it comes to the removal of odours, fumes and the moisture that results from cooking. It is advisable to use a berbel automatic wall sleeve to minimise heat loss. This seals and insulates the pipe outlet on the façade when the extractor hood is switched off. The planning of the exhaust air flow path should be optimised, since this positively influences the efficiency and smooth running of the hood. PLANNING INFORMATION
- 830 mm wide induction hob for cabinets with a width of at least 900 mm and worktops with a depth of at least 585 mm.
- Easily adjustable to different types of base cabinets during kitchen installation (recirculation filter can be positioned vertically behind pull-outs or inside the base).
- Directed airflow behind activated carbon filters possible to prevent residual humidity in the base cabinet.
- The back of the cabinet must be removable for maintenance purposes.
- For recirculation mode provide for sufficient outlet areas of at least 2 x 250 cm²
