The all-new PROSTAFF P5 elevates hunting riflescope performance through a combination of proprietary Nikon optical design, superior glass, durable materials and over 100 years of innovation.
PROSTAFF P5 models feature a one-inch main body tube and a versatile 4x zoom ratio that offers the wide field of view needed for close-up shots or moving targets and the increased image detail that comes with higher magnifications.
Long-range PROSTAFF P5 models feature a turret-mounted side focus parallax adjustment to enable fine-tuning of the sight image without changing shooter’s position.
RETICLES
PROSTAFF P5 RETICLES
The new PROSTAFF P5 line offers models with the newly designed MK1-MOA reticle, as well as the popular BDC and Nikoplex reticles.
The MK1-MOA reticle can be used to estimate range, target size, elevation holdover and wind-drift at the designated magnification. The asymmetrical design allows for additional holdover for extreme distances.
All Nikon reticles can be optimized for any caliber or load with Spot On Ballistic Technology.

FULL MULTILAYER COATINGS ON ALL AIR-TO-GLASS SURFACES
PROSTAFF P5’s optical system was engineered utilizing Nikon’s renowned lead- and arsenic-free glass. Lenses are fully multicoated with anti-reflective compounds for consistently bright, sharp, high contrast sighting at all magnifications and in all lighting conditions.
HANDTURN 1/4 MOA RETICLE ADJUSTMENTS WITH SPRING-LOADED ZERO-RESET TURRETS
PROSTAFF P5 windage and elevation adjustments are made in crisp, positive 1/4 MOA click-stop moves you can both feel and hear. Spring-loaded turrets are clearly marked and can be reset to “zero” after sighting-in for easy reference when making field adjustments.

WATERPROOF, SHOCKPROOF AND NITROGEN PURGED
O-ring sealed to prevent moisture from entering body and nitrogen purged for total reliability against thermal shock, the PROSTAFF P5 is engineered to last a lifetime. Shockproof construction shrugs off hard recoil and rugged use.
PURPOSE-DRIVEN RETICLES (MK1-MOA, BDC, DUPLEX)
The PROSTAFF P5 riflescope is the first riflescope in Nikon’s hunting line to offer the new MK1-MOA long-range reticle. Matched to the MOA turrets, the MK1-MOA provides an uncluttered sight picture and offers precise, visual reference points for ranging, shot holdover and windage corrections. Nikon’s BDC reticle provides unique see-through ballistic circles for long-range shooting holdovers, yet allows a normal sight picture for shorter-range shots where the crosshair itself is the aiming point. The traditional Duplex reticle is a great choice for shooters who want a simple aiming point and uncluttered viewing field.
