To ensure top vapour capture efficiency and condensate-free decorative glass surfaces, the Glassline headroom hood is fitted with BackFlow technology (patent pending). At 46 dB(A), the new EC fan motor is particularly quiet.

MODES
RECIRCULATION
Recirculation mode is the most energy-saving operating mode. The air is cleaned by an odour filter and directed back into the room. The room temperature is not altered. It is also simple to implement, because wall penetrations and exhaust channels are not required. Due to their large volume, are especially efficient at odour-binding and absorb up to 97% of bad smells. A further advantage of the berbel recirculation filter: only the proactive carbon needs to be changed – not the entire filter – and it only needs to be replaced every two to three years depending on how hard the filter has to work. The berbel refill pack is available for a cost-effective and environmentally friendly replacement.
EXHAUST AIR
Exhaust air directed outside the building is particularly effective when it comes to the removal of odours, fumes and the moisture that results from cooking. It is advisable to use ato minimise heat loss. This seals and insulates the pipe outlet on the fade when the extractor hood is switched off. The planning of the exhaust air flow path should be optimised, since this positively influences the efficiency and smooth running of the hood. Combine the benefits of both exhaust air mode and recirculation mode. With the berbel EcoSwitch you can respond flexibly to your needs depending on cooking and weather conditions by using the EcoSwitch button on your berbel extractor hood to switch between energy-saving recirculation mode in winter and particularly effective exhaust air mode whenever you need: for instance during fast browning or throughout the summer months.

TECHNICAL DATA
ENERGY EFFICIENCY CLASS
Extractor hoods are classified into energy efficiency classes. These classes range from A++ (low consumption of energy) to E (high consumption of energy).
FAT SEPARATION CLASS
From A (best) to G (worst). Assesses the percentage of fat separated from the air sucked into an extractor hood. The fat separation level is one of several factors that influence the best possible air quality.
ANNUAL CONSUMPTION IN KWH
Daily one-hour operation of the extractor hood (and two hours of lighting) is used as the calculation basis. The actual energy consumption depends on the usage of the appliance in the home. Divided into classes from A (best) to G (worst). Assesses the airflow efficiency, so the electrical energy used to operate the fan in relation to the quantity of air captured, filtered, and passed through the extractor.
LIGHTING EFFICIENCY CLASS
From A (best) to G (worst). Assesses the efficiency of the lighting on the cooking surface, so the ratio between the average light intensity and the connected electrical load of the lighting system.
