OVEN LIGHT

Oven lights make it easy to view the what’s cooking, without opening the oven door. All Falcon 110cm and 100cm falcon cookers with double ovens feature two oven lights. 90cm double oven cookers feature one light (in the oven with the porthole). 90cm single oven cookers feature two oven lights.

ENERGY SAVING PANEL

At the heart of the Professional+ 90cm FX / FXP upright range cooker’s unique construction is the Energy Saving Panel (ESP). This removable panel allows you to switch from a full size oven that’s great for cooking en-masse, to a more modest compact oven that uses less energy when cooking smaller dishes. When the panel is in place the spare cavity acts as a handy plate warming facility, using residual heat from the adjacent oven. 

SLOW COOK

All Falcon upright cookers offer the ability to slow cook. Temperatures can be set as low as 80°C which is great to slow cook casseroles and large joints of meat as well as to dry foods such as apples, pears and kiwi fruit. Falcon have a delicious slow cooked spiced lamb shoulder recipe which takes approximately 6 hours on 130°C. Slow cooking allows meats to cook more evenly (inside and out). 

STAINLESS STEEL

Selected Falcon upright range cookers are available in stainless steel with chrome or brushed chrome fittings (depending on the model).

CHROME

Almost all Falcon cookers are finished with chrome fittings which include the towel rail, buttons, handles and knobs (where applicable). The shape and style of the chrome fittings varies depending on the model. Selected models offer the choice of brass fittings.

DUAL FUEL COOKER

Dual fuel means the upright range cooker has gas burners, electric oven/s and grill.

MULTI-RING WOK BURNER

Immensely powerful and controllable, the wok ring boasts a multi-ring burner, often used with a handy cast iron cradle to keep the wok safely in position.

FLAME SAFETY DEVICE

All dual fuel and gas Falcon models are fitted with Flame Safety Device (FSD). Flame Safety Devices are part of the gas burner system, and automatically shut off the fuel supply should the flame accidentally extinguish, therefore making the gas hob safer. The FSD will activate to prevent an unsafe build-up of unburnt gas.

LPG CONVERTIBLE

All Falcon cookers featuring natural gas cooktops or ovens can be converted to LPG. At the time of placing an order for a Falcon cooker ensure you inform your sales person you wish the cooker to be converted to LPG and it is noted on your order form.

CAST IRON PAN SUPPORTS

All Falcon upright range cookers with a gas hob include cast iron pan supports which are strong, durable and easy to clean. The style of the cast iron pan support varies depending on the model. Selected models also feature a non-stick multi-zone griddle plate (pictured), traditional griddle plate or teppanyaki style griddle plate.

TEPPANYAKI GRIDDLE

Cook healthy food Japanese-style with the unique Teppanyaki style griddle plate that fits snugly over the burners. It is coated for non-stick easy cleaning. Falcon Teppanyaki plates and griddles are made from cast aluminium with a bonded Teflon (PTFE) coating which is Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA) free. Comforting to know in a day and age where there is concern for how our bodies are affected by chemicals used in manufacturing cooking utensils and apparatuses

MINUTE MINDER

Every Falcon upright range cooker features a minute minder. By setting a count down timer on the cooker it actively reminds us to check on our oven cooking progress, notifies us when a dish is ready or when we have reached the next step in the recipe to add additional ingredients.

MULTI-FUNCTION

Falcon multi-function ovens offer up to eight functions for really flexible cooking. The ovens combine fan and conventional functions with grilling, base heat and browning elements, all of which can be used individually. Functions include fan assisted, fanned grilling, conventional oven, fan oven, browning element, defrost and base heat. Selected cookers also offer Rapid Response.

STORAGE DRAWER – FULL

Falcon’s Professional+ FX / FXP 90cm and 100cm upright range cookers feature a storage drawer the length of the cooker for ample storage of trays and dishes, saving valuable space in kitchen cupboards and drawers.
