EASY STORE PRO IRON
EASY STORE PRO IRON
Code : 23780
The powerful 2400W Russell Hobbs Easy Store Plug & Wind Iron will glide through even the toughest creases without sticking thanks to its ceramic soleplate and its ergonomic design with soft touch handle.
The Russell Hobbs Easystore Pro has an extra-long 2.5 meter power cord which means you can position your ironing board across the room from a socket and still use it comfortably.
Great if you want to watch TV or if closer sockets are in use. With such a long cord comes the question of storage when you’re not using it. The designers at Russell Hobbs have considered this and have developed a cord wrap system with plug placement.
This stylish feature means you can wrap the cord tightly around the heel of the iron and tuck away the plug in its own integrated holder in the heel so that it can be stored securely and neatly after use.
FEATURES
CERAMIC SOLEPLATE
The Easy Store Pro Plug and Wind from Russell Hobbs has a ceramic soleplate allowing you to effortlessly glide through your ironing. Ceramic soleplates offer a durable, non-stick surface which distributes heat well. They are also efficient in heating and cooling so quick to use.
CORD STORAGE
You can cleverly wrap the cord around the base of the iron and tuck away the plug in its own integrated holder in the heel, which pins down so that it can be stored in neatly after use, keeping everything in its place and making storing the iron much easier and neater.
SELF CLEANING
The Easy Store with Plug and Wind has an integrated self-clean function. The purpose of self clean is to prevent a build up of limescale inside the iron resulting in prolonging its life. Self clean allows you to purge left over water and scale from the iron. This function usually creates a concentrated burst of steam which forces limescale out through the steam holes.

3. Press the S button – you may have to press it 2 or 3 times to pump water through the system.
PREPARATION

SWITCH ON
-Set the temperature control to • and set the steam control to S. -Stand the iron on its heel. -Put the plug into the power socket (switch the socket on, if it’s switchable). -Turn the temperature control to bring the setting you want next to the marker. The light will come on. -When the iron reaches the temperature you set, the light will go out. It’ll then cycle on and off as the thermostat operates to maintain the temperature.
DRY IRONING

Insert the plug into the plug storage receptacle to secure the last section of cord as shown. -Store the iron on its heel, to avoid corrosion and damage to the soleplate.
FILLING
-Unplug the iron. -Wipe up any spillage -Open the water inlet cover -Hold the iron with the front raised -Don’t fill past max, or water will escape in use -Set the temperature control to • set the steam control to S -Pour slowly, to let the air in the reservoir escape, otherwise you’ll cause an air lock and the water will overflow -You may use the iron with tap-water, but if you live in a hard water area, you should use distilled water (not chemically descaled or softened water). If you buy distilled water, check that it’s suitable for use in irons.
SELF CLEAN
To avoid scale build up, use the self clean function at least monthly in normal water areas, more often in hard water areas.
-You’ll need a basin or a large bowl to catch the water coming out of the soleplate. -Fill the reservoir to the max mark. -Set the temperature control to max. -Sit the iron on its heel. - Put the plug into the power socket and wait till the light goes out. -Hold the iron over the basin or bowl with the soleplate down. -Press the C, and hold it down. -Gently move the iron to and fro, over the basin or bowl. -Water and steam will wash scale and dust through the soleplate, and into the sink. -When the reservoir is empty, release the C button. -Unplug the iron, and sit it on its heel to cool. -Follow the steps under After use and storing.
