FLEXIBLE FRAMING
Flexible framing uses every pixel on the sensor to shoot video. We can even crop the same video in multiple ways, either for different destination platforms or to add variety. With flexible frame shooting, there’s no need to define your aspect ratio before shooting.
RAW VIDEO DATA OUTPUT
The LUMIX S5IIX enables the output of RAW video data over HDMI to save it as ProRes RAW on ATOMOS NINJA V+, NINJA V and Shogun CONNECT HDR monitor-recorders. The Blackmagic RAW can also be recorded on Video Assist 12G HDR.
EXTERNAL USB SSD RECORDING
With the LUMIX S5IIX, recording and playback is supported using an external SSD via USB. In addition, the ability to record ProRes 422 HQ (maximum 1.9Gbps) and 4:2:2 10-bit All-Intra directly to SSDs, which combine portability and high capacity has improved efficiency in data backup and post-processing.
