USB-DAC MODE
For multiplied performance
A so-called "active" headset incorporates an amplifier and a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that directly process the sound signal emitted from its listening source in wireless or wired use (phone, tablet, etc.) and amplify it to deliver high-quality reproduction.
The USB-DAC mode integrated into Focal active noise-cancelling headphones offers a resolution of up to 24 bits, 192 kHz and limits the phenomenon of compression during listening, for ever greater sound performance.
AL/MG SPEAKERS
A sound of extreme precision
Focal engineers have applied all their expertise in manufacturing loudspeakers for wireless and noise-cancelling headphones. Manufactured in Focal workshops and inheriting patented technologies, the 40 mm wideband electrodynamic drivers in Aluminum/Magnesium are a patented Focal innovation.
The aluminum increases the rigidity of the dome and greatly reduces distortion, while the addition of magnesium boasts excellent damping. This alloy allows the drivers to deliver deep bass, smooth treble, and clear vocals for extremely precise sound.
